The scarab collection herein described has accumulated from the year 1889 until the 1900. It belonged to  George Willoughby Fraser (1866-1923). The author is an English engineer who worked for many years as a contributor to the Egypt Exploration Fund together with such notable archaeologists as William Matthew Flinders Petrie and Percy Edward Newbury.Owing to his permanent work the drawings went on slowly and precisely, he presents to the public an excellent book in this field.
